A DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT
What's the name of the move where you take your arm and hold it up like you're flexing a muscle, then, with your fist clenched, throw your arm back & forth -or- "rock" your arm to & fro in a kind of a pumping fashion? Punkers like Ballard would do it while dancing in the pit, & they'd usually do it with their arm held high above the crowd. I even remember Peter "tse tse" McMinds demonstrating it once while recalling the first time he saw Marie Osmond in concert at the fair. And I think he may have had the beginnings of a combination crop-top/feather-do haircut (Pretty sure this was pre-bandana 'round the thigh tho).
I know the move oh so well. It has a close cousin where the arm is up like your flexing a muscle, but instead of the pumping motion, its more of a circular, "I'm mixing something in an imaginary upside down bowl" motion. Both moves require the participant to have bug eyes and a feigned look of faux rage to pull it off. I could never quite master it.
